Product performance and Application

Product features: whiten and balance skin color, alleviate and reduce excessive pigment deposition, correct atypical hyperplasia of epidermis, improve keratinization process, promote the discharge of melanin, prevent freckles and spots, and smooth skin.   

Mechanism of action: in the pigmented area, due to the increase of melanin production in the pigment forming cells in the basal layer of the epidermis, the excessive melanin makes  skin looks black. Usually, melanin is transmitted to keratinocytes through the pigment forming cells, and then pushed to the skin surface as the skin keratinizes, and then discharged from the skin with the exfoliation of the cuticle. Under the condition that normal skin is in good keratinization process, melanin is discharged smoothly, and appropriate amount of melanin is kept. However, in the case of poor keratinization, it is difficult to remove melanin from the epidermis, resulting in excessive accumulation of melanin in the skin. Excessive melanin in the macular area is not only caused by excessive melanin production, but also has a great relationship with false chronic keratinization

Application information: Potassium Methoxysalicylate can correct the atypical hyperplasia, dyskeratosis and atrophy of the epidermis, improve the keratinization process, promote the smooth discharge of melanin; at the same time, it can also promote the increase of hyaluronin particles, thickening of the granular layer, and thinning of the cuticle, accelerate the stratification of keratinocytes, and make the skin smooth and white. 
Potassium Methoxysalicylate not only has the same effect of inhibiting melanin production as the existing whitening active ingredients, but also has the effect of regulating the differentiation of keratinocytes, which can improve the skin condition of melanin’s excessive deposition. Through the human body effectiveness test, it is proved that it also has excellent defense effect on the artificial induced pigmentation. According to the results of these studies, Potassium Methoxysalicylate has been developed as an external product of the Ministry of medicine and obtained the license in Japan. In Korea (functional cosmetics), China (special purpose cosmetics) and Taiwan (pharmaceutical cosmetics), which have similar legal systems with Japan, have also obtained the license as effective ingredients, and are favored by the whitening cosmetics market in the whole world.
